WILLS POINT CHRONICLE, May 14, 1931

"Angus Wynne, Jr., of Dallas, grandson of Mr. and Mrs. W. B. Wynne of Wills Point won first place in debate in the state meet held in Austin recently, having first won in Dallas county and the district meet held under the auspices of the Interscholastic League of Texas. The young man is only 17 years old and will be a member of the team of two to represent Texas in the national contest.
